Meet Javier Góngora
RYA Yacht master Offshore Commercially endorsed, as well as Professional Captain for Spanish flagged vessels.
I am in love with beauty.
I travelled the world for twenty years, and I am passionate about sailing.
A while ago, a breath of fresh air made me altering course and set sail to my element, so I took all required steps to become RYA Yacht master Offshore Commercially endorsed, as well as Professional Captain for Spanish flagged vessels.
Giving my international experience and education I find navegocontigo an opportunity to live up my dream with two main targets apart from enjoying while sailing: revealing our power within and maximizing our consciousness, our awareness; in order to positively influence our own lives and the lives of those around us; offering the best version of ourselves, to live up to the level of our talents and not to our limiting believes.
My key points are the development of our potential as human beings, reading, contact with nature and sailing; sport and nutrition as patterns of healthy ways of life and the recognition of burdens and full awareness to achieve realization in your particular travel to the being you are, your travel to ITACA.
The sea I know has been for the past fifteen years the one that speaks to the Galician shores, on board my own boat and on many others; fully crewed or singlehanded,,, countless experiences in bad weather,,, always beautiful, sometimes sublime.
An early morning I found there is a central quality, which is the root criterion of life and spirit of a man, such quality is objective and precise but has no name. The search we make in our own lives of this quality is the central search of all persons and the essential individual story of every one of us, is the search for those moments and situations in which we are most alive.
ITACA
ITACA is my sailing boat and the convenient scenario for a conscious sailing.
Our berthing is at Marina Sada in SADA, Galicia, northwest Spain. We have sailed adventurous beautiful places of great luminous freedom.
I invite you to be part of the experience, you are the one, I will instruct you.
Boat handling is very easy if you follow some basic principles; you will learn a new language, you will gain another soul.
You have the opportunity of being yourself, truly you, here and now.
At navegocontigo I “sail with you” and you can come alone or with others.
You do not need previous sailing experience, but an open mind, great enthusiasm and a will for creating and sharing good moments on board.
