What is your schedule?
We will design the activity according to the weather forecast, but usually we have two sailing schedules:
Half Day:
Morning hours: 10:30 to 14:00 h
Afternoon hours: 16:30 to 20:00 h
For the whole day:
10:30 to 20:00 h
We will meet at the access barriers to the Sadamar Marina 15 minutes before departure.
*Please note that due to sailing being a heavily weather-dependent activity, sometimes itineraries may need to change.
What type of clothing should I wear?
Remember to bring comfortable and warm clothes. Summer is hot, but if you plan to be on board all day, it is best to bring something warm for the evening.
Comfortable shoes, it is advisable to wear non-slippery shoes, not heels.
Where are you located?
We are located in Sadamar Marina, on the west bank of the Ares and Betanzos estuary (43º 21,5 ‘N and 008º 14,8’ W) can be found at the deep end of this estuary, facing the large beach of Miño, in the town of Sada in the port of Fontán area.
The Ría de Ares y Betanzos is one of the so-called Rías Altas, and offers an important shelter for sailors, while being one of the most complete marinas in Galicia, not only for its services and facilities, but also because it is located less than one hour away from important cities such as Coruña and Santiago and its airports.
What is it like to sleep on board ITACA?
We sail to see the sunset aboard ITACA, you can come alone or with other people (max 7 people). Before it gets dark we return to port for you and your partner to sleep tied to port.
Schedule: 20:00 to 10:00 h
How much space is there on the boat?
The interior of the Itaca is comfortable, three double cabins with toilet, and salon kitchen. There is enough space for 7 people.
Is it safe?
As RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Commercially Endorsed and Professional Yacht Captain, Javier, our captain, has all the experience to ensure the safety of all our visitors on board.
Before departure we check the weather conditions and all we need to know to guarantee your safety on board.
We offer you a day of conscious sailing in the SADA estuary. We will hoist white sails, we will set course to freedom.
